Somatic Therapy with individuals

During our work together, I may invite you to notice sensations in your body, images that arise in your mind, and any movements or impulses that naturally emerge. We might explore body postures, facial expressions, and ways of making sensory contact with both your inner experience and the environment around you.

Sensation is the language of the body.
Words, thoughts, images, and stories are the language of the mind.

As you learn to follow the sensations in your body, this awareness can gently guide you through survival patterns and support a return to greater ease, regulation, and possibility.

Working at the Pace of Your Nervous System

For many people, accessing or finding words for the body’s experience can feel unfamiliar or challenging at first. This is completely natural—and simply noticing this is already part of the healing process.

We work slowly and intentionally, at the pace of your nervous system, engaging what is available in the moment. Over time, this builds your capacity to feel a greater range of experience. Along the way, you’ll learn tools that support settling, regulation, and connection to the innate resources your nervous system already holds.
